Who we are:

In the end of 2007, a new independent recording company was established in the Brazilian market. Driven by an old dream of promoting quality music, Alexandre Hesketh, also known as “Black”, going against the market trend as many speculate the end of the recording market, launched Black Records with the purpose of promoting talented artists, independent of musical style.

We believe in the talent of Brazilian musicians and understand that, unfortunately, good artists have been losing space to promote their work in the midst of low quality music that major recording studios insist to launch into the market in large quantities.
